Embarc: to set out on a journey.
Every goal starts one: a first race, a PR, getting back after time off. Embarc is where you find out exactly where you’re starting, and where you track how far you’ve come.
The line in our logo is you.
It rises with dips along the way, because that’s what real progress looks like. Bad weeks, good weeks, trending up. Underneath it are two lines: training and recovery. Nobody climbs without both.
Why a shipping container on the LA River?
Because the test should happen where the training does. If you’ve every needed to hit a long run then your probably logged miles on LA River Trail. Our lab sits right on the trail, and our sweat test sends you out the door onto it.
A sister to Mohawk Wellness Collective.
Embarc handles testing and coaching. Mohawk runs the sauna and cold plunge along side us. Test here, recover there. (Mohawk Echo Park & Frogtown included)
[ HISTORY ]Embarc started with Jacob Saldana, founder of Mohawk Wellness, training for his own Ironman 70.3. Getting lab-tested showed him how much of his training had been guesswork: zones from an age formula, hydration from a bottle label.
Real testing in LA usually meant a clinic across town and a report nobody explained. So we built the lab where the training already happens: a shipping container on the LA River, steps from the trail, right next to Mohawk’s sauna and cold plunge.
Same idea as Mohawk: show up, do the work, recover right. Now with the numbers to prove it’s working.
Opening November 2026 in Frogtown.
